This is where the rich come to run their boats for the 2 weeks of the year where the uk actually has warm sunny weather. The best way to experience the harbour is by taking a ferry to brown sea island from Poole harbour itself.

Staying at a nearby holiday park, we took a bus and did the touristy bit. What a beautiful town! Lovely modern indoor shopping centre that blends well with the older high street and it's side streets and old town. All the areas are well signposted and access is great, even for the less mobile. I could have spent the whole day on the quay looking at the stunning yachts being built! Wonderful selection of cafe's bars and restaurants to suit all pockets. Quaint independent traders sit alongside well known chains. A beautiful place to spend some time just watching the world go by.

Just been for a long weekend of sailing with a friend. Naturally beautiful, safe waters and great eateries dotted around. Can highly recommend for a visit whatever it is you like :)

The second largest natural harbour in the world (and the largest in Europe), Poole Harbour has stunning scenery and should be visited many many times!

We stayed at a hotel here for a night and had a little stroll around the harbour. It was nice and relaxing and wow!, there were some fantastic looking yachts there. One can only bring. There are some great little pubs to visit along the harbour to,
