Owner description: Splashdown Waterpark is a great day out for family and friends. There’s something for everyone – from big kids to little ones – with some of the UK’s most exciting waterflumes. For the thrill-seekers, brave the Screamer with its sheer vertical drop. Plunge into darkness on the Black Thunder. And hold on to your pants as you shoot down the Spacebowl like a human pinball. Or if that sounds a bit like hard work, just go with the flow on the Mississippi Drifter. There’s the fabulous Little Buccaneers SplashZone with a starter flume, water play area and Buccaneer Bay, our toddler swimming pool. And, on a hot summer’s day, Buccaneer Beach is the perfect spot for a splash with the little ones. There’s even somewhere to play for little landlubbers. We’re open all year with indoor rides in the winter. In the spring, we take the slide outside where the Mississippi pours into the Grand Canyon. And, in May, bring on the awesome Screamer Tower – it’s fluming good fun! What are you waiting for?

This water park really needs a facelift. It has clearly seen better days but even the general cleanliness is below par. I witnessed a staff member walk past an empty coke can. He actually walked round the Can purposefully instead of picking it up! It’s attitudes like that will allow a place to drop in cleanliness standards. Obviously the kids don’t care and are oblivious to this but some parents might not be happy, while others I’m sure will turn a blind eye to get a moments peace and quiet lol

Thank you for leaving a review. I am sorry to hear you found the waterparks cleanliness below par, we have a strict cleaning regime and that is not the standard we expect. I will pass your comments onto the management team. Over the last 8 months Splashdown Poole has seen a considerable investment, of which the outside spaces have benefited most. We have an ongoing maintenance programme and we strive for the waterpark to look its best at all times.

We went in the middle of the Easter holidays in a really wet rainy day, and it was busy but the centre had capacity for it. Arrived 10:30am on Wednesday morning to get in before 11am for the Early bird option. Queuing outside, in hindsight should have booked online as queue shorter (to the left) but payment process erect all great. Changing rooms (£1 new coin per locker) are a little small, good showers upon exit & entry.
Loads of flumes and rides perfect for all ages and abilities, we particularly liked the tube ride, great fun, think it was Mississippi ride. Some were closed due to it not being summer but we managed to get on every ride at least once in the 2 hours.

My 2 children aged 12 and 14 visited here on sunset tickets. 3.5 hours of slides and fun, and they were smiling but tired! They stayed until closing time at 6pm and said the last couple of hours there were hardly any queues. The outside slides were closed - think that'll be an excuse for them to return!

My daughter and her two boys really wanted to have a ‘wet’ experience on their Easter School holidays and we came up with idea of going to Splashdown At Tower Park here in Poole. A great afternoon of fun was experienced and they certainly got wet! There is a host of eateries near by.

We visited on a wet day which meant it seemed really busy but despite that is was still a really good day. Given how busy it was we didn't have to queue for long and with joint entrance to the soft play next door it seemed reasonable price for the three of us.
As our son is only 3 we had a reduced entrance fee as we weren't going to be using the slides/flumes and instead just the areas for the younger children. Our son had a great time in there. He was able to stand and sit in the water so depth was just right and he enjoyed using the small slide on the boat, the first time we have been able to use an area like this and was great for him. Changing areas were adequate, we didn't use the cafe but looked fine and was busy when we came out.
