We held our very intimate wedding reception here last week, i don't even know where to start, absolutely amazing.
On arrival the day before, staff were brilliant, reserving a car space for us to unload all of our suitcases. We were staying just the 1 night before the wedding, so were shown to our room, which was lovely. Very clean, comfortable, loved the bath in the room and shower was lovely. Decor around the whole of the hotel is beautiful. We were allowed to go down to the function room 'starboard' to have a look at the set up and decorate for the next day.
Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.
After our wedding at the Guildhall, we came back to the hotel for our arrival drinks in the courtyard. Lovely Pimms, very refreshing and Waiters extremely attentive. We then made our way to our function room for the evening. All the food was absolutely divine, cooked beautifully, the young waiter (don't remember his name) was brilliant, constantly filling our water up, making sure everything was ok.
I really couldn't fault anything, Thank you so much to Lucy and her team for making our day special. We would definitely love to come back and stay again, on our anniversary maybe, if not sooner :) xx
