Met on Poole Quay on a Tuesday evening. This was close so we tried it. Plenty of people in for a Tuesday. Staff were excellent.

Fit and Goats cheese starter was pleasant and I happily ate it all, however it was a bit dull lacking a bit of something.

Tuna steak with chilli king prawn sauce was delicious, I really enjoyed it. Sea bass main was excellent, simple fresh fish well cooked.

Dessert choice was a bit limited and highlighted the cafe in the name which was a shame.

Overall though a very pleasant evening and we would return.

Having walked up an appetite for lunch, we looked at several places along the harbour front and spotted this place which we were thrilled to bits with. It fitted the bill for fish and chips by the sea. The haddock in beer batter was delicious, tasting really fresh. We only wanted the main meal but for another £1 we could have had a starter as well. For £9.95 per serving such good value. The staff were very pleasant and the ambience of the little building was perfect.

Hats off to the staff here, especially as it was busy time of day. Did take a long time to be served with the food but understandable under the circumstances. Used to visit this place when it was Oriel - always enjoyed the food. Not disappointed today.

This is on the Quay in Poole and is a really lovely location. We had been to the sister restaurant previously in Westbourne and had enjoyed that so thought we would give this one a try.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive initially.
We opted for a shared fish platter to start, which was lovely. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted lovely and was a good portion size.
For mains, my partner opted for scampi, which he said was lovely and I had a mussels dish which was on the daily specials board. They were outstanding and the portion was huge. I struggled to finish them all. Service became a bit slower at the end of the meal.
Overall, we had a lovely meal and will go back when we are in Poole again to try some of the delicious looking desserts that we di not have room for.
