A dog friendly very reasonably priced hotel. Not many places accept dogs, this one does and it is opposite the promenade so within a close easy dog walking location. The room was simple and clean, a very pleasant breakfast was served with a smile.

We stayed at the Can-y-Bae in Llandudno last weekend and had a fabulous time, thanks mainly to Michael and Dave who couldn't do enough for us, even recommending places to eat (both of which were excellent!) Check in was easy, our room was lovely with an ensuite bathroom, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and trouser press. Also tea and coffee making facilities with little Gingerbread Men biscuits :) Breakfast was plentiful, fruit, cakes, cereals, juices, followed by a full English. Couldn't fault it. Their theatre-themed bar was our favourite, loved looking at all the theatre signed posters etc. The location was right on the sea front, just step outside the front door and you're right on the seafront. We would definitely stay here again, excellent value and super-friendly personal service.

Can-y-Bae Hotel and in particular David and Michael were recommended to us by a friend, who said," you won't be disappointed", and we were not.Very Clean comfortable homely hotel, comfy bed, good sized room and en-suite. Good selection of fruit and cereal and a good full English at breakfast, hosts were very obliging and helpful, with plenty of suggestions of where to go and what was on, very friendly, and we loved the gentle leg pulling humour when-ever they got the opportunity. good location, Couldn't fault anything.

We first stayed at Can y Bae back in 2010 after a recommendation from the local tourist board. We were not disappointed in the slightest. Dave and Michael are the perfect hosts, friendly, efficient with nothing being too much trouble for them. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and clean with everything you need in the way of facilities. The sea views are lovely. I spend all year looking forward to my cooked breakfast and I'm never disappointed. The theatrically themed bar is nice and cosy and the bar meals are lovely too should you choose to eat in. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is relaxed and friendly and really helps to make our holiday special. We've just returned from our 8th year there and we are booked for next year too, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Room Tip: Lift to all floors so good accessibility.
