Seaside front hotel my room had a great veiw at the ocean. The problem with my room it was on the top floor only 52 stairs up and down so when you are going out make sure you have everything you need because it was alot of stairs. Room was clean and big and a big bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was huge and yummy. A old hotel but they are fixing it up and putting in a elevator. Friendly staff.

The hotel is in a perfect location right on the sea front. Reception area, stairs etc a bit run down but we couldn't fault our room which is all that really matters. Lovely sea views, light airy clean and modern. Very large room too with plenty of space. Very good service from the staff with nothing being too much trouble. Tasty breakfast the morning after. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks elsinore for a fabulous stay!

My husband and I enjoyed a night at The Elsinore recently. My Mum and Dad also stayed the night in a neighbouring room.

Pros:
+ Great location on the promenade.
+ Spacious rooms with lovely bathrooms. Excellent shower!
+ Comfy bed.
+ Good facilities in the rooms.
+ Clean.
+ Excellent value for money.
+ Good choice at breakfast, especially for different dietary requirements.
+ Friendly staff.
+ Limited car parking.

Cons:
- Perhaps a little on the tired side if you look very closely, but by no means an issue.

At £55 per room, per night, including a cooked breakfast, we would certainly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay again.

My Mum has a gluten free diet, and said that the breakfast here was the best she has had. Gluten free bread was provided for her to toast, to accompany the full English she was able to have.

A fuss free stay, a good nights sleep and a decent breakfast. At that price, what more could you ask for?

Situated on the front & in walking distance to all needs.
Everything you would expect for the cost. Its value for money with friendly staff & clean rooms.

Hotel itself is very run down, old & needs renovations but couldn’t fault the room or service. 1 night stay (Friday-Saturday) with breakfast for 3 = £100. We didn’t have a sea view but room was large.

Parking on the seafront is free from 4pm overnight to 10am next morning but getting a space is difficult.

The hotel is a little worn out in the public areas but there is renovation work on going.

We stayed in a very clean room that was freshly redecorated, new beds, furniture and bathroom.

Disappointed that the bar didn’t open until 4pm despite all signs saying 2pm. That said it’s cheaper to go round the corner to the local shop anyway.

Breakfast was nice but you don’t get a lot on your plate.

Staff were friendly and very helpful.
