You get what you pay for. Our room was appalling, not been touched since the 1970's though in fairness they are slowly refurbishing the rooms. Food adequate. This place is geared up for elderly holidaymakers arriving by coach. Great location but car parking is a nightmare.

Lovely hotel, helpful, friendly and approachable staff.
Had a family room with sea-view- spacious, clean room, good facilities (and free wi-fi!)
Food choice was very good, and meals were delicious.
Various seating areas down stairs, giving space to chill and chat, and that added to warm friendly feel of the place. In a central position to the pier/ shops etc.
Would definitely stay again.

although the hotel is currently being refurbished, downstairs excellent, the bedroom I was in was a bit shabby, clean and comfortable though - very good nights sleep, bed comfortable but television was small and picture was dark and gloomy in the main - the room and tv needs to be upgraded.

We booked four twin rooms which where not ready for 2pm check in resulting in us having to use a room in the main hotel and returning to the property after a trip to the theatre to check in to our rooms .

Booked this hotel through booking.com for a one night stay, we paid £80 for this stay and will be contacting booking.com for a refund!
After arriving at check in we were told our room was not ready and that we had to wait until 4.30pm to check in the room.

As you can see from the pictures the room is absolutely disgusting, damp and mould on all walls with paper peeling away. The window was broken allowing wind through so the room was freezing cold all night and curtains constantly moving.
We spoke to reception and was told we could not be moved room as they were already fully booked!
The en-suites toilet and shower screen both had a crack in.
I would not recommend this hotel even if it was for one night!
