The best and most beautiful luxury hotel I have been to in Norway.
I tried the buffet brakfast one morning and the a la carte breakfast the next morning. Both were good, but nothing beats breakfast cooked to order.
For dinner we ate at Jonathan Grill, which is supposed to be a Japanese barbeque. I was not impressed. I've had Japanese, Thai and Korean barbecues which can be absolutely delicious, this however was not. There just was not much flavour in the food.
The beds at Britannia are from the luxurious Hästens, but the mattress we had was actually hard and quite uncomfortable.
Even though there were some negative aspects, all inn all Britannia is an excellent hotel.More
