Radisson Blu Hotel Nydalen, Oslo
Ranked #53 of 102 Hotels in Oslo

There are to things that are ok with this hotel; the breakfast buffet and the staff. the hygenic standard is horrible. At checkin the room we got was dirty - the bathroom was nothing but disgusting. And- the room was made ut for one person not two.
The next room we tried had a reasonably clean bathroom(still just one towel, and one glass, and no soap.), but the bedclothing was not changed after the last visitor. Finally, after another trip to the reception to complain, we got upgraded to business class. The room was huge - but the bathroom was still not completly clean, and there was a layer of dust om lamps around the bed. The minbar was not full, the wi-fi did not work and on the next day neither did the roomkey.
Never ever going back!! Oslo is full of great hotels - no need to stay in this filthy place!

Tunnelbana is right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The breakfast was excellent, very good food quality. The room was reasonably clean, not amazing, just clean enough. The insulation of the rooms was so and so, you could hear people in other rooms moving stuff, but the noise level was not that disrupting. The room was not very warm, a bit cold I'd say. No kettle for tea, though, which was annoying, and no cups, of course.
The biggest minus was the gym, which was a tiny room where everything was broken and ancient, apart from the weights, of course. The place didn't look clean enough, all the electronics on the machines where going cuckoo and the cooler was broken, so no water.
Do stay there if the location is convenient and you're on a business trip, but get ready to run outside, even if it's February :)

Well located in the business district, but a little distant from the centre. Clean, comfortable and free wifi.

If you are arriving by plane don't get a taxi, Jan 2012 it cost equivalent of €140 one way. There is a train service for a fraction of the cost.

This hotel is away from the city however it has a metro just at the doorstep. The is also a supermarket beside the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, so is the service are great. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of choices.

For the high price level in Oslo, the Radisson Blu Nydalen offered good value for the money. The location is a bit outside the city center, but is directly located at a subway and bus station. The metro is only available until around midnight, but the bus station is serviced by one of the two lines that runs all night. This is a great advantage - you'll never have to take an expensive taxi to get into bed.
The hotel rooms are basic. Bathroom cleanliness was OK - there were a couple of hairs and stains when we arrived.
The hotel has a bar an a restaurant. However, we did not use either of the two.
WiFi is free and pretty stable and fast.
Overall, the hotel is a good choice for your Oslo trip.
