The rooms are descent! They are clean and they have a good space, but it's a hotel adjacent to a hospital, therefore a medical hospital that accepts tourists. It would be nice if it were not far from the city centre. When I read 4 km away from downtown I thought it would be great, but it's not. You end up spending more money and time in traveling from and to the hotel for your tours and also when you need taxis (which we always do here during the winter) you'll spending much more. Half of the staff could not speak English but still, they were really nice, specially a girl called Marianne. She was so patient and kind to me and helped me several times with everything I needed. If you're coming to Tromsø to be treated I highly reccommend this hotel, if you're coming on leisure I would not reccommend it.

Everything was clean, and upper floors have beautiful view of surrounding area. Mostly filled with hospital patients and their families. Rooms adequate, and when we asked for an extra rollaway bed, the receptionist gave us the room next door for our kids, at no extra charge. Very helpful. It is a few km from the city center of Tromso, and taxis are about €20 each way, so if you're going to visit the city, this is a tough sell. Buses seemed adequate but we were having problems exchanging money into kroner so had to use credit the whole time.

Room Tip: Great views on top floors!

Planed to stay here for 4nights but cancelled it instead just stayed for one night with my husband. The hotel receptionist was very accommodating and always answered our questions. The breakfast buffet was also very nice that is available from 7am-10am. They offer from freshly baked breads, eggs, bacon, beans, and meat "pålegg" to cereals and fruits. Overall 4/5 breakfast buffet nothing special Just a normal Scandinavian breakfast buffet.
The room: very simple room with nice toilet and shower. The room was clean and dirty in some places. The bedsheets have old blood spots. The room was ver cold, even when turning up the heat, still very cold. (Not very advisable for any sick patients) the internet was the worst, very bad signal. (Room1205)
The were no available toiletries and disposable glass.
Overall this hotel has a lot of potential only need more improvements (heating) plus availability of toiletries.

OK hotel connected to the University hospital of North Norway (UNN). The hotel has a friendly staff, OK breakfast and lunch buffet. Good location for visitors to UNN, however; not near the center of Tromsø.

The rooms are simple, minimalistic, yet very (in a clinical way). They look like modern hospital rooms, perfect for patients, relatives and visitors.

Not a typical hotel for tourists.

Room Tip: Good location for visitors to UNN. Good value for money. Not a hotel for tourists.

Stayed here for one night. Rooms were clean in a clinical sort of way. Exceptionally well heated. A little sparse in terms of in-room amenities (no hairdryer for example). The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. The on-site restaurant was OK but fairly limited menu choice. I'd recommend if you are visiting people in hospital, but not otherwise.
