I had dinner with my wife just last month ( july 2013) in this place and the food was ok but not as tasty as i expected at this price, when you pay close to 500 Norwegian kroner for indian food you expect it to be really good . its just around 100-150 gram of chiken pr portion and some rice and bread.. so noo good vallue for money, small sizes and pricy.. I will not eat there again

We had early dinner and was the only one in the restaurant so we assumed that we will get good service but was disappointed. Overall we had an amazing meal (Chicken tikka massala and biriani chicken plus nan and raita) as an experienced indian food eater I can safely say that it is first class. The food is not cheap by all means but this is normal for Norway
Will definitely come back for the food

Good Indian food and friendly staff, but not the best location or atmosphere. Quite simple furniture and interiors in general.

They have kid's chairs as well, your biggest problem with bringing kids however will be the waiting time to get food. It seemed to take forever...

I've been lucky enough to eat in dozens of Indian restaurants around the world and this is easily one of the best. Great service and food (especially the lentil soup and chickpea curry); and there are a few vegan and several more vegetarian dishes- something quite rare in Norway. The meat-eaters enjoyed the pakora selection and two chicken dishes- an 'ordinary' tikka masala and the pepper chicken. Both were fantastic, apparently. Starters, main and drinks for three came to about nok1120, or about £125 or $190USD.

Excellent indian food. Skip the underwhelming Pakoras and have the lentil soup or one of their breads (Haryali nan was delicious). Both the spinach king prawns and the butter chicken were so tasty we had to restrain ourselves from scraping the residuals out of the pot with the serving spoon (!). The service was welcoming and attentive and the bill will probably be one of the heftiest you have ever paid for Indian cuisine. This is Norway, after all! ;-)
