The Star Inn Hotel Premium in Vienna is phenomenal; the staff fabulous. When my wife and I first arrived, not only was the front desk staff friendly and greeted us with a warm welcoming smile, but they took their time showing us every tourist attraction on the map with detailed instructions on how to get there. They even gave us the option to choose the room; we chose one of the higher floors with a killer view of the city center, which is within walking distance. The view is unforgettable! The room looks brand new; my wife fell in love with the bathroom. There's no complaint in that department or any other department. The only sad thing is that we're leaving to Prague in a couple of days, and the pampering will end. Hopefully, the staff at the hotel in Prague is as nice as the staff at the Star Inn Hotel in Vienna. If we ever come back to Vienna, we would definitely stay in the same hotel without reservation! I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: You have the option to choose your room. Pick one on a higher floor with a view of the city center.

I have booked in as a last minute guest, could not be more pleased. This place is spotless, roomy, modern, and so close to the station. More importantly though, the wonderful staff... It really does make a place. Thank you to the staff for making a bad day much brighter!

Excellent value for money!

This is a new, modern hotel, right across the street from the main train station in Vienna (which was very convinient for us). Belvedere Palace is also about a 15 minute walk. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful. The only weird thing about the room was the shower (as others have mentioned). It is separated from the room only by a glass partition, so if you are sharing the room with anyone other than your significant other, things may get a bit awkward ;-) I am guessing that they'll have to redo these sooner or later.
Other than that, a nice place to stay for a few days.

Lets get this straight; this hotel is not in the centre of Vienna. Three stops away by train is outside the city centre. Its not a place to use if visiting the main tourist attractions. The hotel is new and the surrounding area is still in the process of being completed you will see the building machines in the rear of the hotel. The lounge furniture may look attractive in nice colours but its the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever used. There is no seating outside like the other nearby hotels. The breakfast is expensive so why not try walking across the road to one of the station cafes and save yourself 10 Euros each? The rooms were comfortable but why have a bathroom with a virtually transparent wall - it was not private enough for us. The surrounding areas streets were scruffy and unattractive too. A place to never return to I am afraid. Its better to pay more and stay in Vienna city centre.. Not suitable for children. OK for a single businessman's stop over.

Room Tip: Ask for front of hotel room if you do not want to be overlooked by other buildings.
