This hotel is a beautiful building in a great location. It was close to the center city and we were able to walk to many of the tourist spots. I was given a chance to upgrade the room for a small fee and chose to do so. The room was huge with high ceilings. The staff was extremely helpful, and gave us excellent tips when we asked for places to visit or eat. Loved my stay here

The hotel was very handy to the opera, just 2 blocks away. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had the chance to make an up[grade which worked out well. the hotel was being upgraded at the time, but that had little or no effect on our stay.

Room Tip: Book a corner suite - the outlook is worth the extra cost.

Tucked away in a quiet alley, this hotel situates right in the middle of city centre. First you are greeted with cheerful staff - genuine kind unlike routine chain hotel. Simple and elegant decor, with classic semi automatic elevator. Lots of timber here, so you feel the warmth and the history. The room features high ceiling, large comfy bed, beautiful lighting, large windows. Desk is good for writing.

This hotel has lovely, traditional rooms with high ceilings and large windows. Both bedroom and bathroom are spacious. Unfortunately our room was "interior" and our view was of a next door business's dumpster - often noisy. Front desk personnel were very helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Vienna by foot or public transportation. Vienna is a beautiful city.
The hotel was undergoing construction at the time of our visit. It was difficult to find and our taxi didn't take us to the door, although we found out later that he could have. I expect this won't be a problem when construction is completed.

Room Tip: Anything but facing the inside "courtyard".

This hotel is situated on one of the main streets in the centre of Vienna, in pedestrianised area. Location was excellent and easy to get to via underground (line U1).

Hotel is 105 years old and decor of that period fitting (art deco).
Spacious room, comfortable bed. Large flat screen tv. Bathroom has double sinks and bath (shower over).

Good selection at breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Highly recommend this hotel
