The hotel has very good position close the centre of Vienna. Close the Karlskirche and University, so we felt safe. You can reach the city centre, MQ, and other interesting places by walk. The rooms are a little bit older, but clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and open to help. The Breakfast was good and I think everybody should be satisfied. Generally the Vienna stays in my heart and this hotel plays a big part in this feeling.

This is sold as a business hotel, and is well located in Vienna. I stayed here within the same week on non-consecutive nights and therefore got two different rooms. I have to say I am a bit puzzled by the design choices of this place. The first room was made out of an enormous (20m-long) empty hallway, with a large-ish room at the end. The bathroom was also at the end of this hallway. This was obviously made out of a former apartment, but it looks completely incongruous. But not a deal-breaker. Heating and hot water were OK (pretty important in November in Vienna), and bed was comfortable enough. I didn't look too closely at the carpet, tapestries and furniture, but they are showing age and frankly aren't spotless, but not frankly dirty either. The second room by contrast was tiny, and the windows looked out onto a brightly-lit hallway leading from the elevator. Here the decoration was gaudy and looked like something out of a cheap movie set, but also pretty old. Overall, this wasn't a bad hotel, in the sense that it was conveniently located, no major disturbances, and friendly front desk (but no restaurant unfortunately). However it has no cohesion or personality whatsoever, and therefore this makes it feel "cheap". Some items require renovation, and from my understanding this is underway already - just not in the rooms which I stayed in. With the current condition, I would not want to stay here again, unless I had to or everything was sold out.

We stayed for 4 nights in April on our second visit to Vienna. Good points are: very convenient location for walking to sights in the city centre and easy access to public transport. Our standard double room (Room 329) was reasonably spacious with plenty of storage, comfortable (firm) bed, HDTV, Kettle/drinks etc. The modern bathroom was very nice with a large walk-in shower (no bath), WC, modern sink unit with lots of storage. Breakfast was generally very good with a wide range of fresh items and always well replenished during our visit. My wife was disappointed with the cooked items and we therefore stuck to the continental breakfast range. Staff were friendly and helpful - we had a late 7.00pm check-in and early 7.00am check-out with no problems.

The minor irritations were as follows: room service was a bit hit and miss eg with regard to replenishing drinks items such that we resorted to purchasing milk from a nearby supermarket. The hotel is on a very busy main road, which our room faced on one side. The double glazing was very effective in almost eliminating traffic noise but this meant we couldn't open the window much of the time. We had requested in advance a quiet room at the back of the hotel, but this was not allocated to us. Finally the hotel breakfast failed our orange juice test. That is, the breakfast orange "juice" was not real orange juice but some cheap orange drink. We find this inexcusable in any class of hotel.

Nevertheless we had a very pleasant stay in wonderful Vienna.

Room Tip: Rooms at back, not facing Getreidemarkt, should be quieter than front facing rooms and allow you to open windows

We were spending 2 nights in this hotel, it's a good option for short stay. The room was clean, spacious, with all needed equipment. The plus is location, close to the metro station and fish market. The minus: parking is very small, with hard entrance and it costs extra 21Euro/day, which is not announced on the booking site. So the room costs X Euro+21 Euro if you want to park your car. I would not recommend it, nor stay again.

Stayed in the apartments. The size of the rooms were spacious. There wasn't enough cups or glasses in the rooms. Décor a bit bland and the walls thin. Thankfully the room next door was being used by us so the noise/ sounds didn't matter but if other guests were staying next door it could have been an issue.
Had a light missing in the entrance but this was fixed promptly.
Breakfast was good. Not much cooked options but overall a good selection.
