As the name implies, the location is very central, as it faces the Ferdinandeum, 500 meters from the Golden Roof. The people at the reception are very helpful and they explain well the existence and use of the Innsbruck Card (highly recommended, we have purchased the one for 48 hours at the cost of 50 euros) which gives you free entry to virtually all structures of the city and all public transport. Our room was on the 4th floor and the noises of people shouting in the street were fortunately very rare. The room was spacious, with new furniture and excellent cleanliness. Breakfast, to be done at the Central Café, inside the hotel, is quite complete and you can find everything from sweet to savory. The hotel has its own parking at 15 euros a day, but since it was full we parked at the Zentrum Parking, right in front of the hotel at 24 euros per day and 18 on Sundays. Very convenient anyway.

Room Tip: Ask for third or fourth floor

We stayed here for a day. Lovely place. On the feet of mountains. Just in the centre of the town. Very helpful staff. Good, clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this place to others

Very well maintain hotel with good room and amenities. I would suggest to take front view room above the central cafe. They are newly build.
Breakfast is good and have vegetarian choices.
Location is perfect. One side is old Town square and other side is railway station and main b us station. All at walkable distance.
Staff is very good.
Just outside have a open soace. From Windows have a good view of mountain. Very relaxing morning seeing the mountain view from window directly from bed.

This hotel has an excellent location, a quick walk to the old town and the train station..surrounded by eateries, this hotel is great to stay in. The rooms are good sized. One negative, the rooms have no air conditioning and it can get a little stifling, they provided us with a pedestal fan which helped. The breakfast is quite good too. The staff at the reception is great, special thanks Tanya at the reception for being super helpful to us.

Other reviews of this property made me a bit hesitant, but it turned out to be an excellent choice for Innsbruck and I can only imagine the negative reviewers simply had a one-off bad experience.

The property is a large, older building, right in the heart of Innsbruck, but within relatively easy walking distance of the main railway station. It appears to be two buildings that have been built in different periods, but regardless, the rooms are exceptionally modern, clearly all having undergone a facelift in recent years.

The lobby is spacious with computer workstations and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, with very good language skills. English is spoken clearly. The elevators to the room are a bit of an annoyance as they are old and slow and there's only two of them, but it's a minor point. Although the lobby computers are provided free, there is excellent free wifi throughout the property for use in your room. Luggage can be stored after check out, but it's self-service, which did give me a (needless) security concern.

Rooms are spacious and modern, with cool, hardwood floors and although stripped pine won't be to everyone's individual taste, the closets and cupboards are all unfinished wood and it gives the room a modern Alpine look. Beds are very comfortable with spotlessly clean, new looking linens. There is a stocked (and expensive) mini bar, but no kettle, tea, coffee, bottled water provided, which for a four star property is unusual. Some of the rooms on the 4th floor are loft spaces, with an upper sleeping and lower sleeping/sitting area. There is a TV but I never used it.

The bathrooms are a little bit oddly configured as it appears they've tried to maintain a bath tub in a space where probably a stand alone shower would be a better fit. As a result, the shower 'end' of the tub is somewhat awkward. Yet it's all new and clean and the hot water pressure is excellent. The basin however does not come with a stopper, so you cannot fill with water. The only amenity is liquid soap/body wash/shampoo in one container. There's a very powerful hair dryer, but that's secreted in the bedroom cupboards.

Breakfast is slightly chaotic as the hotel cafe is open to the public and seems very popular, so hotel guests are roped off at one end and the staff were a bit stressed clearing debris away, despite the hotel not being particularly busy or full. Everything you'd want is provided, both hot and cold items, and I can't think of anything they were missing. There's even a juice station to pulp your own veggies or fruits. Very good quality options.

The hotel is quiet on a pedestrianized street and although there are cheaper options, you are paying 3* prices for a 4* property, so that's well worth considering. Walking distance to all of Innsbruck's sights is easy and comfortable from the hotel.

Room Tip: Some 4th floor rooms are loft spaces with upper & lower sleeping areas
