“Compact and most enjoyable”

Salzburg is a small city with a church every hundred yards! The castle is a must. Get a salzburg card as it will save you a fortune and covers many attractions. The Austrians appear to like modern art. Whilst I am happy to view many forms of art, I found their taste in modern art slightly weird but they devote considerable resources towards it. Stick to the churches, in my view!

“Charming city”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

I first visited Austria in July last year, and I really must say it is a beautiful and cosy city.

The old town is a great part of this, and there is a lot of history and old architecture to enjoy there

“Very nice”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

Great sights, don't bother shopping as it is very overpriced but they have some really great shops to browse in.
