This is a really hard review to write for two reasons - the first is that I don't like to give negative reviews, and the second is that the staff were lovely and very helpful. They were however about the only redeeming thing about the hotel, sadly. The location is not great, a wee bit out of time in a quiet area with not a lot of local amenities around. My room itself (a suite on the top floor) had spectacular views out of the bath but the whole bathroom had hairs all over it when I first checked in. Likewise the room itself had multiple marks and scratches on the walls. There were no tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was the usual basic fayre, but with a large selection of tinned fruit and a poor selection of fresh fruit. The coffee was out of a machine. It was really quite hot when I was there and none of the public areas were air conditioned.
There is a great view from the roof terrace but the indoor pool was small and always busy. Lovely staff, but sadly not what I had hoped for.More
