Returning to the "Bougie" again after going for many many years, our latest visit was as good as always. Some changes have been made by Stavros and Marina, mainly new staff. Lovely ladies, very polite and helpful. Its a wonderful place to relax by the pool or on sun beds in the garden area. Food is available throughout the day if you get peckish and then plenty of restaurants in Polis to choose from. The main areas for this are about a 10 minute walk(quicker if you have jet propelled legs...lol). It was lovely catching up with old friends again and look forward to our visit again next year.

Room Tip: If you are not good on your legs, try and request accomodation in the first block. 1-8 are apartments...9 and 10 are studios.

Another fantastic 2 weeks. We have been going 25yrs and just love returning.
Stavros and Marina are wonderful hosts and make you so welcome.
They have 3 new staff and they are really lovely and looked after us so well.
There are so many returning guests and that tells the story.
Polis has a good few resteraunts and in walkable distance.
Bougainvillea Hotel has a good selection of food to choose from and we sampled a few different choices. They will always try and fulfill your requirements.
Love it.

Firstly like to say Hello to everyone that works at the Bougainvillea also to Stavros
we left theses apartments about one week ago and we where staying there for 3 weeks and we did very much enjoy our stay there very relaxing the apartments do have just about every thing that you would need for your stay there beds are changed regularly and the rooms do get cleaning every day except on Sundays as its the housekeepers day off theses apartments are not for anyone with problems with there legs as there is about 13 steps to climb up and down for the bedroom and also for the toilet there is some sofas down stairs but you do still have to go up stairs for the toilet.

There are some lovely cats there black and white and a little kitten which I wish I could have taken home with me and they love theses apartment just as much as we did cause everyone feeds them and gives them all treats.

There was only one fault that I had with theses apartments and that was the balconies 2 of them in the apartment where never cleaned while we where there for the 3 weeks there where a lot of theses big black dead insects laying on the balconies room number 11 so we never used any of them this is why I only gave 4 instead of five.
So will we come back to theses apartments no because the stairs as my hubby found them to much for him and also we are booked up for some where else for next years.

Had a amazing week with my wife and 11 month only at this wonderful hotel .
Stavros and his ladies made us feel very welcome.
They really went above and beyond especially with our baby- who became part of the furniture behind the bar .
The pool and gardens are very well kept.
Lovely 2 see the fresh produce coming out of the gardens.
We stayed in room 20 which was upstairs
Meant I didn't need a gym carrying the pushchair up there.
The room was spacious and had a view of the sea ... beds comfy enough.
Kept clean and tidy by cleaners .

The hotels location was very good . 800m from the camping site/ sea .
Only a small walk too the square with its restaurants and bars.

Would highly recommend this hotel and polis .
Really lovely people with amazing food and very beautiful scenery .

We were sceptical going all this way with a 11month old - totally the right thing 2 do!!!

We paid £700 with Thomas cook
Which was a bargain for everything we got

Would finally like too thank all the other brilliant people we met at the hotel. So lovely and genuine made our stay so enjoyable.

Room Tip: The shower screen is not very big, so be careful to keep the water in the bath and not over the floor!
