We came across this delightful place by accident en route from the Sliema ferry, up the hill towards the bus station outside the walls. In need of the toilet and a drink.
Drink was timely and good but it was the owners friendly approach and the plate of his own homemade sausage, cheese and olives which came free was truly delicious. If you were really hungry his Maltese (well really Gozo) platter would be a good bet.
But actually its the combination of the quality of the place with its location a few moments away from the main street that makes it special. Its down the road where Ministers park their limos when in Parliament.
