do the boat ride and watch the cities from the sea. by foot its exhausting and it s not worth it because the beauty of the view is from the sea not on foot

You need 3 to 4 days to visit all the interesting places in these 3 cities, specially if you are interested in history. Very well connected by transport.

You must visit and walk the area when it is cool though there is plenty of shade. The lift to it from gardens upper levels takes you to the public ferry across the road. Nice modern bridge when yoi arrive and you can walk and catch buses.Easy and lovely. You explare what you can see high up in the gardens UP THE LIFT. You can get back by bus to Valetta and use of lifts are free after 6 p.m. i.e. when cooler.

We went by ferry (after 6:00pm it's free of charge) and strolled around the small streets. Nice view of Valletta. Very peaceful place. A lot of good restaurants though a bit expensive. We went back by bus to Valletta.
