The Fortina Spa is a 4* hotel which shares its spa facilities with the 5* annex. We travelled with Saga and spent 6 nights half board. This entitled us to use the Thalasso Spa for half an hour during weekdays for free and also to use any of the 5 restaurants in the complex for evening meals subject to booking. Half board guests get a better deal because the price is inclusive and choice of restaurant greater than those on full board(although they are entitled to free local spirits and soft drinks in the hotel).
Saga room was unimpressive. Rep was told of dietary requirements on arrival and in advance of the Gala Dinner, but there was no effort to get it right anytime during our stay.
Also due to a private function one evening there was only one choice of sitting for the buffet dinner and the Cocktail Bar was closed to Hotel guests. This was not received well by resident guests.
Cannot fault the rooms. Our rooms overlooked the garden and were peaceful. We were on the 7th floor so had a view of the sea also.
Reception staff courteous and helpful as were the cleaning staff.
Poor choice of free tv channels unless paying for movies etc and there was no free wifi in thrthe rooms. The best reception was in the main reception and was noticeable by the number of people accumulating there throughout the day.More
