The owners and people that work here, clearly have a goal to stay on the top of the best restaurants in Reykjavik, and I understand why they do, after visiting.
Genuin Icelandic hospitality, attentative and polite staff and a most sincere wish that you as a guest have a nice experience and enough to eat while you’re there.
You will have hot soup in a breadbowl (if a breadbowl is what you wish for), lots of smiles, the chance to drink Icelandic orange-soda (it’s great!) and free refill on your soup. While we where there they also had lots of free candy and sweets on the tables for their guests.
The soup is not the very best I’ve had (it was a nourishing and nice lamb-soup with carrots, potatoes and a little seasoning), but the place, the straff and experience as a whole, - excellent.
