Hi Tracey.

I feel compelled to answer this review.
I’m so sorry you could not access our free wi-fi.
We do offer our customers a free 5 GHz wi-fi connection, recommended to us and supplied by the largest phone company in Iceland.
In some rare cases there can be an issue of compatibility between ones device and wi-fi router, where some phone models (often it seems older models) do not support a 5 GHz connection.

So sorry again.
I hope you had and will have a lovely time in Iceland.

Sincerely,

Sigurgestur Jóhann
Manager of Reykjavík Röst

This is one of the few places in Reykjavik that we returned to multiple times. High quality free refill coffee, tried their breakfast platter which was petite but tasty. Good pastries and reasonable prices.

Great coffee shop vibe that the owners clearly worked hard to establish. Nice view of the harbor as well.

We stumbled onto this little gem which runs a good happy hour, on both drink and food. There are tables which look out onto the harbour, and the setting is really cosy with an open fire at one end. The staff were friendly and we ended up staying for a little longer than originally anticipated. Although we didn't eat, others around us did and the food looked fresh and delicious.

I would highly recommend a visit.
