Wonderful gem of a guest house. Very clean and stylish, and the hostess could not be more friendly or helpful. In the centre of town, but on a side street, so away from the noise of the busy streets. Could not recommend more, and I'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: Don't choose the attic room if you're tall, as I developed a slight stoop after four days.

A great find for the budget conscious. We are family of four and stayed in the guesthouse for 3 nights at the end of June, 2015. The apartment is clean and cozy and has all the basics you need for a pleasant stay. Small kitchen, wifi, sundeck out front, comfy bed and an ok pull out sofa bed. With four it was cozy but worked just fine.

The location is great in the heart of old town Reykjavik on one of the more picturesque streets with lot's of character. Everything you need and most sites are within easy walking distance. It is very quiet and peaceful yet only a block away from all the action.

Orn, the host was kind and friendly and provided any assistance and advice we asked for.

Iceland was amazing and VIPP offered a great start to our stay in Iceland.

Can't beat the location or price! On a quiet street in the heart of old Reykjavik, about a block away from the hardcore weekend partying so you can check it out but leave it all behind and sleep. The tourist info is around the corner and the main shops are all an easy walk, even for my 8 & 6 year olds. All the sites, restaurants, cafes, market, etc that you read about in the guidebooks are within a 5 block radius. The owner, Orn, is a man a few words (in English anyways) but set us up comfortably with good linens, well equipped kitchen and even provided us with dvd's for the kids. The apts are cozy, 1 room studios with 2 singles or 1 queen bed plus a double pull out sofa, all beds quite comfy. Everything new and very well maintained. Super warm apartment with comfy heated floors. There was a small parkette next door so the kids could play while we got ready for the day. Would definitely return!
