Visited in April, around sunset. The light was magnificent, just perfect, and we were able to get som beautiful pictures with the sea and the mountains in the background. It’s very easy to find, and if you like to take pictures, viewing art and sculptures and stay in Reykjavik, I recommend you spend half an hour to go there.

Nice sculpture that looks like it does on photos you see online. Down on water's edge, which is nice. Wouldn't go out of my way to see it

Not a ton of time is needed here. Excellent back drop for pictures. Depending on the time of day you go (assuming you go when it actually gets dark) the sun can affect your photos.

Take a walk down to the harbor and enjoy the amazing scenery! I swear, I took a million pictures! But most importantly, go see the Solfar Sculpture! Also another great photo opp! ;)

So well positioned on the water front, this graceful sculpture is sure to delight all! Evocative of a fairy boat leading out to dream destinations. The sunlight, if captured at the right time, glistens on the metal making it glow.
