After visiting the library bistro/bar on a Saturday evening for dinner, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait so sat in the bar. Shortly after, another waiter approached us and said the chef wasn't taking any more orders for that evening. We were disappointed, but the waiter was very friendly and gave us recommendations of where to eat elsewhere in the area.
We booked to have lunch the following day at 1pm and on our arrival, we realised they were offering a 'brunch menu'. I think its a bit weird to be offering such a menu until mid-afternoon, as we were excited to try the full menu. The member of staff also did not inform us of the menu we would be given when we made the booking.
However, the american pancakes with raspberries and caramel were lovely and the moroccan mint tea was stunning! We had exceptional customer service again and despite the confusion and disappointment experienced on saturday night, customer service and great food makes up for this! Would highly recommend, but make sure you book a table to avoid disappointment!More
