We spent 5 nights here and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The rooms were clean cosy and had everything you need from a fridge to extra blankets. The staff were all lovley and always said hello. The roof top pool was and extra added bonus. We loved this. Keflavik is a beautiful town. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

We stayed here the night before we had to fly home. It is close to the airport. But far from choices of dining etc. especially if you get into town a little later. The hotel decor was very nice, modern and clean. The rooms were very clean and beds comfy. BUT all the rooms and hallways are wood (or something similar) floors. So every time someone walks down the hallway you hear EVERYTHING. If people are conversing above or beside you, you can hear their whole conversation (Which we did). The worst part about it though was 7 in the morning while we were trying to sleep before having to get up and get ready to Travel the 12 hour journey home, the HOUSEKEEPERS of all people were talking sooo loud. They weren't even trying to be quiet. My husband opened the door and kindly said that we are trying to sleep, if they could please be a little quieter. Probably 10 minutes later they were laughing and talking super loud! After we already asked them to quiet down. Then (since you can hear everything) we hear another man chew the ladies out for being loud while he was trying to sleep and he complained that he didn't get much sleep the night before and was wondering why they were being so loud at 7 am. (My thoughts exactly) So after that, they go upstairs and start...vacuming. In the room right above our heads. So we decided to get up and get out of there and go get breakfast somewhere because at this point it was just ridiculous! So we did complain at the front desk and the lady apologized and said she would talk to them which was appreciated but she could have at least offered breakfast or something as compensation for loss of sleep due to their staff. Defintely if you need your rest, consider going somewhere else. Side note: the lighting in the room is super dim and the rooms are very small. Kinda hard to navigate with luggage and 2 people.

One Iceland night on the way home. Had 2 nights in Reykjavik on the way over. This is a nice place with a view to a little harbor on the water side. The front desk guys were very accommodating (stored some bags, check out flexibility, rescued an abandoned bag etc. etc.). Breakfast was basic, but handy, and at the usual high Iceland price level. Walking the coast and main drag of Keflavik was entertaining enough, if you wanted a break from a city.

This was our first hotel stop during our travels around Iceland. Our flight arrived late and we planned to stay somewhere close to the airport on arrival. Check in was quick and the room was really lovely and modern.
We slept fantastically and it was a struggle to get up in the morning as the bed is SO comfortable.

Shower is powerful and lots of lovely toiletries were included for our use. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to experience their breakfast or swimming pool. We compared every hotel we stayed in after to the Hotel Berg and wished we could have stayed their for the whole trip.

Lovely hotel overlooking the marina and harbor in Keflavik. Made leaving for the airport very easy. Quaint fishing village and decent value for money. The bed was fabulous, great water pressure from a dual head shower (rain/handheld), and the room, one of the most spacious during our stay in Iceland. The Nespresso machine and mini fridge were great additions.
