Warm rooms, warm shower, nice bathroom, nice breakfast, good wifi, working sockets, curtains, windows, average view (not their fault though), desk, flat screen TV, en-suite bathroom, helpful staff and working lights. 10/10 would go again.

We had a triple room which was very spacious. Very clean and nice and warm. The hotel is lovely, as are the staff. They were very helpful. On the downside this hotel is well out of the way. There's a Thai restaurant within walking distance however, if like us you travel over the New Year this closes as does the restaurant in the Hotel, so there isn't really many options for eating. A taxi to Reyjavik is £27 and on NYE £55. Bus services also stop mid afternoon on NYE. Hiring a car is a MUST.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor at the back. Lots of huge Windows overlooking mountains.

The room was gorgeous and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was filling and delicious. My favorite part of staying in this hotel was going out for a walk amongst the lupines, trees and moss covered rocks near the hotel. I saw many different bird species. It was lovely.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is quite simple, very clean, and the staff is really nice. It was about a 30 minute drive from the KEF airport and about 20 minutes from the center of of the city. The staff gave me a beautiful room on the 4th floor with a corner view. I loved it so much that I extended my stay and the honored the same rate I was already at. The breakfast was good, nothing out of this world, but quite complete. The internet worked well and the room was very well heated. There is a grocery store near in walking distance and a Thai restaurant. There is also a gas station and sports centre right behind the hotel. They also have a gym next door but sell passes to the gym which seemed a bit expensive.

The only negative part is that while extremely clean upon checking in, the daily cleaning of the room seemed a bit lax. Other than that I can't complain about the place.

Room Tip: Choose one of the higher floors and if you can score a corner room go for it.
