A very cozy and cute little restaurant, which is playing a game with its name "Two rooms and a Kitchen" like advertising an apartment for sale. The service was friendly and caring even though at the beginning it took a while to bring the wine. The big antipasto plate was delicious and abundant even for two to divide (see pic). The main courses selection is not too plentiful, but there are pastas, risottos, pork, white fish and pepper steak to choose. The shrimp pasta was tasty and generous dish. Liquorice flavored creme brülee was not bad at all.
The restaurant has two small rooms and "kitchen" = a tiny bar with two tables. The next door neighbor seems to be a much bigger bar with the same name. So choose the right door from the street if you want to eat. Might be wise to book a table for at least week end lunches.

Full roll of spicy salsiccia sausage fried in garlic and chili oil is THE portion to taste. Drink with wine or beer...does not matter. Here the salsiccia is the king/queen and you with drinks are only in the second position.

Nice place downtown Tampere with excellent food! We tried pasta with prawns and mussels + pasta with chicken fillet and lemon. Both of them were perfect!
Accompany them with the goat cheese salad, plus some garlic bread :)

2H+K Baari & Keittiö offers basic pasta and pizza. A bit heavy and relatively big portions. The wine selection is nice. But if you buy wine by the glass, I recommend asking the server how long the bottle has been open. We got wine that obviously had been open for some time... The red wine was also served too warm (maybe as warm as +28 C which was apparently the "room temperature" in the kitchen at the time).

Nice looking interior, and the waiter was very welcoming and nice. However the food was average or below average. My starter seemed as it was like a selection straight from the nearby market: canned sundried tomatoes, canned artichokes and what comes to the meat, there was something which was supposed to be like parma ham or prosciutto, but was very hard to cut to pieces, not to mention chew.
As the main course I had the their salsiccia sausage pan, which was actually quite tasty but as the sausage was cooked in the oven, the whole pan was filled with fat to the top, and the sausage was swimming in it. So I would have needed something very fresh to even the taste, and the onion salad did not do it for me.
But it was the waiters skills and his nice attitude, and the sausage pan anyway which raised this to be as average for me. Anyway I did tell the waiter that in my opinion, he should be serving in a better restaurant - the food wasn´t as good as he was.
