A true fine-dining gem in Tampere. The food is modern-Scandinavian with playfull and even surprising influences from Asian and classic French cuisine. We went for the smaller wine pairing and it was perfect.
You could really experince the chef's passion for food, the pride of the staff, and this is what fine dinning is about. Will return for sure.

We had a dinner here. The place was really nice and calm despite there were quite a lot of people. The server was friendly and listened our wishes. The food was delicious. Sometimes it is a good thing that you cant choose any dishes. The menu was well planned. I can really recommend this place.

We visited Hella & Huone one Wednesday evening and the restaurant was totally empty. This is a shame since Hella & Huone offers an incredible menu with seven courses, which build up an excellent meal experience. The menu is focusing on fish which makes it lighter and total amount of food is not too much, even though portions are not small. Service was friendly and professional and we really enjoyed the evening. Strong recommendation for Hella & Huone.

Both food and service were terrible and definitely not something that you would expect from restaurant in this price range.

Waiter and waitress knew nothing about the food, which we had to eat without any drinks as they just picked the empty glassess when bringing the next course.

We were a party of two for dinner and chose the full menu with pairing wines.

We were hungry but it took them about 25 minutes to get us even the water to the table. And no bread or anything while we were waiting. The first meals we got about 50 minutes after arriving at the table (timely as we had made a booking). Also, the service was correct but I would not say it was even polite.

The food itself was nice, no complaints at all. The wines did not impress and the portions seemed very small in our glasses.

Maybe we just had bad luck but would have expected more. And the food definitely would let you ask for a better overall experience.
