Room's atmosphere was nice. Exciting but not too scary. Missions were different and hints come in nice way if needed. Story wasnt cliche. Special thanks to friendly staff!

A must try escape room in Tampere. We were there 6h ago and we cannot stop talking about how awesome it was. The room's ambiance was awesome. The decoration was beautiful. The puzzles were great. The story is very well made up, so inmersive that I felt goose bumps many many times (and believe me, I am not superstitious at all). Every clue available in Finnish and English (what was one of our requirements since we were all foreigns). No need of physical skills kno jumping, no hard pushing or pulling, no going through narrow places). We also had a great time talking to our "Guardian Angel", who is one of the two master minds behind this escape room and who runs the business with his wife. Since we were beginners (and very curious) he was telling us everything about this room and many others in Tampere, Helsinki and all around Europe. Our group of 5 managed to escape in 55min (5 min before the time was over). Looking forward to your next room!!!

We are a family with one teenager. Me and my husband hadn't done any escape rooms before, but this was definitely a super experience! The owner was fantastic and explained everything thoroughly. I appreciated his passion towards escape rooms. Also his English was very good, which made life easier as my husband doesn't speak Finnish.
The story of the room was great and there was a perfect balance in getting hints when we got a bit stuck.
Also after the game there was a nice moment to analyse together the experience a bit and our work together.
My greatest recommendations for this escape room!

We did the Marien muotokuvat as a group of 3 in March 2019 and enjoyed it tremendously. Both the room with its ambiance and puzzles as well as the story were very well executed. The GM was very nice and you can see he's into escape rooms in a big way.
I've been to quite a few escape rooms and this is one of the best I've seen. I'm definitely going to play ElämysTeeris other rooms when those are released. 12/10 recommending Marien muotokuvat!
