It was a relief to find an Asian vegetarian restaurant in Katajanokka in Helsinki. The waiters were extremely good in service; friendly and responsive. I had ordered a dish and asked them not to make it spicy, but when the food came, it was very spicy. After I told the waiter, he immediately replaced it cheerfully with another one which was not spicy at all. Food is tasty.

We didn't book and took a chance midweek, early evening.

Restaurant half full. Good attentive service but with only a little English spoken.

Good menu and the food we had was superb.

Strange I thought that "Kathmandu beer" was actually brewed in the UK but I shall overlook that...

Do come here. It's a pleasant family run place that deserves your Euro.

Didn't expect to find great Nepali/Indian food in Helsinki but there it was, just steps from the hotel.

Restaurant was packed but service was good and reasonably quick. Food was very tasty and portions generous.

A nice alternative to the boring hotel restaurant.

Our hotel were non-committal when we asked them about Everest. We now understand why! The TripAdvisor reviews looked good so we decided to give it a try for dinner.

When we arrived in this cramped, busy restaurant there was one member of staff behind the bar. He didn't greet us nor acknowledge our presence. When we eventually got his attention and told him about our 7:30pm reservation (made in front of us by the hotel concierge) he said it was for 7pm. We put him straight but this was not a good start!

He gestured towards a dirty, uncleared table in the window which he nonchalantly cleared while we sat waiting at it. At this point we should have walked out but we were too tired to find another place.

The food was tasty but served on stainless steel Thali-type dishes which meant that everything went cold very quickly. The overall cost was reasonable but overall this was a poor dining experience.

Small place but huge choice. Really busy and only one guy to take care of the tables so you might need to wait a bit to be seen to, but the food is definitely worth it! Dishes come with plain nan, rice and raita. Mango lassis are phenomenal.
