I have enjoyed a dinner at Pompier twice during the past weeks, and have been very happy with the food. Grilled avocado ceviche with roasted tomato crème and chimichurri was a delicious started, and beef tenderloin steak with bearnaise sauce is one of my favorites as the main. Pompier provides excellent value for money, both for food and wine. And if you are a desert person, you should try their tarte tatin, it's the best one I have ever had.

The location is top notch. The food was really good. We had their tasting menu with wine suggestions and it was really very good. The thing is, next night we went to another restaurant where the food was next level, so I couldn't really give this review more than 4/5.

We visited Pompier on a Saturday night for a dinner. We ordered menus of 3 courses. The food was tasty, but there were a bit too many components in each dish. Nothing really stood out, as there were so many things on the plate.
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere at the restaurant was nice.

I've heard a lot of good feedback for the lunch, so I would probably choose this restaurant for lunch rather than dinner.

Lovely ambiance, warm welcome and delicious food & wine. Had the 3 course set menu. Would recommend and return when next in Helsinki.

Everything was really nice, friendly service and the food was good. However the food was only good and not excellent or exciting or anything special. I may be quite demanding in this sense, but meat and potatoes like this does not impress me. So even if I wanted to give a better rating, I really can’t. Maybe another menu may be more innovative, but I feel that the restaurant food should be something I am not easily able to recreate - at least when we’re talking about restaurants at this price range.
