Ribeye and new york steaks was nice and perfectly cooked. Vine: South afrikan pinotage is balanced and good choice. Tbone steak was the last peace and unfortunately not the best one. I could recommend the place.

We went for Goodwin to get a good steak. That we got but we did not expect everything else to be below par.

The most disappointing was the service. The servers seemed to be unhappy to be there, and mostly annoyed by having to serve anyone. Don’t get me wrong, for the most part service was quite quick but there was no welcoming atmosphere, no warm ness to it and I just felt that the server would rather be anywhere else than serving me at that moment.

The side dishes were really below par, I don’t remember when was the last time I had such bad tasteless French fries.

Almost none of the meat was Finnish. I understand this when you want to serve waguy for example, but there is no reason to haul dry aged beef all the way from the US or New Zealand. Feels irresponsible.

If you’re in it for the meat - it’s not a bad choice as long as you don’t have high expectations of service. However I felt it is nowhere near to great price quality ratio.

I really enjoyed a lovely meal at this place. It is near the central square of Helsinki. There are plenty of choices at the menu. Service is fast and efficient and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Had a lovely evening in Goodwins Steakhouse. Food was delicious and excellent service. In particular would like to thank Louise who went out of her way to look after us, very friendly and professional service. Will definitely be back.

Has an overall good experience. My steak was good but my husband’s stroganoff was not quite on brand. Far too much paprika. But on the whole it was a good meal and we would go back and give it a second chance.
