Stefans´s Steakhouse used to be the best steak place in town. What concerns the steaks they were indeed tasty, but the rest of the experience in this place according to our recent visit is all down hill from there. The waiter was probably the sloppiest one in recent history with no attention to our table whatsoever except for bringing the food : Starters arrived one by one and finally the main course after 1.5h of waiting (after reminders). All this was crowned by a restroom that horribly smelled of pee. Please ! It´s time for the management to look in the mirror. This feels like customers are simply being under rated. With this level of price/quality ratio felt totally upset and this way it so easy to start taking the business elsewhere.

We had a problem with the wine we ordered and it was immediately attended to and our bill credited.

Hamburgers were really nice and the meat done to perfection, pink and juicy.

Worth a visit.

First time in Helsinki and wanted to try something new and found that Stefan's was recommended for reindeer steaks.
The staff are exceptionally welcoming and the steaks we had were amazing. We'd never eaten reindeer before and it was just great.
Lovely atmosphere, good beer too.
A great introduction for us to Finnish cuisine!

What a steak! I have never ate so perfect tenderloin. The food was superb. Visited 30.4. And this was not the first time as food is so superb! Not the last time either.

This was our first visit to lovely Helsinki so when in Rome etc we went to traditional Finish restaurants with the set menus.. all ok but we just needed some normal grub & Stefan’s was 10 out of 10.. one of the tastiest steaks I have eaten .. great service (thank you Derrick) and a good Argentinian Malbec … perfect and not a herring in sight!
