We visited Hoku for a Saturday lunch. We got a table almost immediately and didn't have to wait. Just after we were seated there was a queue on the door, so the restaurant is popular. For lunch they take the orders at the counter before seating and pay beforehand also. We ordered salmon teriyaki.

Food came quickly, and we first got a plate with good amount of salmon, kimchi and pickled vegetables. Then they brought two bowls with rice and green salad (you can choose between that and potato salad). The salmon was cooked perfectly and the dish was very tasty. Lunch was decently priced.

Great fusion of Hawaiian and Japanese flavours. I was a bit skeptic because of the location above a mall but that was unnecessary. Food was delicious and service was very nice and fast. Will definitely visit again!

Chicken katsu and beef. Wonderful view over narinkkatori. Good service and atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Normal saturday, 3 persons and yes we had made a reservation beforehand. Gladly because the place was full. We took first poke sampler and gyoza, both was excellent. Quite spicy but I liked a lot! Then Bi Bim Bap and Salmon teryaki with green salad. Both were excellent and service was excellent and food came up quite fast although the place was full of customers. I strongly recommend!
