Hotel is located not that far from the centre. The lobby area and front of the hotel look really nice, castle like. Service at the front desk was really friendly. The hotel is in two connected buildings, and my room was in the other one. I needed to go through several different doors, but with little luggage that was not a problem. The room wasn't that big, but confortable and sleep quality really good even my room windows faced the street. Breakfast buffet has a good selection, the breakfast room is a bit small on busiest times.

My wife and I stayed here overnight en route for St Petersburg. It was a pleasant hotel in what was originally a modern castle. The service was good and our room was fine. It was in a handy position for looking round Helsinki. There was a small restaurant at the hotel with a limited menu but this was fine for us for one night.

While nothing very, very wrong with the hotel it just seemed a little expensive, a little grubby, very small (room - see picture and tiny gap between wall and end of the bed) and generally a bit disappointing.

We were warned the room was compact but it was very small and a long way away from the beautiful lobby. The carpets in the hall were grubby and worn and not really very inviting.

Was fine for one night but wouldn’t head back there again.

Stayed at this hotel with my wife during a conference in Helsinki. Very friendly welcome. The comfort room we booked was very adequately provided. A very clean room once on the ground floor with no view. The TV was not easy to operate.

The hotel was sold as centrally located which for reference was a good 20-30 minutes walk to the train station; which some older tourist might not appreciate. There is no immediate means of public transportation around it. The room are decorated dark, which are never a good sign in my view as cleanliness is concealed. The bathroom basin had black mold on the caulking that had established its colony some time ago. The shower tiles were no different. Our room faced the building across which didn't offer much privacy. The breakfast selection although fair is conducted in the basement in several small areas which feels a bit claustrophobic. The best part of this hotel was the staff, which were friendly and willing to help.
