My girlfriend and I wrapped up our European vacation in Helsinki and we scheduled a 3-hour kayaking adventure with these folks. It was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was not only an accomplished kayaker, he was extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding flora and fauna. It was just the three of us out on the water and the beautiful scenery is something I'll never forget. If you are going to Helsinki and you want a day out of the city, this is the thing to do. Highest recommendation.
We had a great time kayaking with Martti and crew. Loved getting out on the water and got a great upperbody workout out of it.
We were looking for something a little different for our BaltiC tour destinations and this really proved a hit with all of us! Our two sons are regular kayakers and my husband had dabbled but I am a true beginner and not a strong swimmer so I was really nervous as but Martti was really helpful in booking
our tour and we managed to find two fellow cruise passengers to join us. We had a really enjoyable time and I would recommend it to everyone to have a go! Something really different.
My friend and I booked our kayak trip and it was the highlight of our trip to Finland. We spent over three hours paddling around the Finnish coast line taking in all the sights. Our guide was extremely nice and hilarious, even though he is forced to work for his son for free. We got to see and experience a side of Finland that few do and I can't wait to go back. O, and the sandwitches are good too. If you are in Helsinki for any length of time this is a must do. It will be one of the experiences you will truly treasure and appreciate.
Best way to discover what Helsinki really is: none of vibrant high-culture, high-history places, but a beautiful archipelago surrounded by fascinating nature! Very friendly guide (Martti) passionate about paddling!
