Stayed here for 2 nights in July 2020. We asked for a room in higher floors and with a bath tub, and upon arrival, the reception double-checked the wish. So we ended up in the 13th floor with a magnificent view to Helsinki. And we got the tub as well with some extra bubbles :) The reception worked very well and was very friendly.
The room itself was a standard hotel room with twin beds, double pillows and adjustable temperature (the lowest you can get is +20C). Big floor-to-ceiling -window was nice giving the panoramic view over Helsinki. The window was naturally equipped with blackout curtains, which is a big plus.
The only disappointment came over breakfast. I understand that due to Covid-19 the hotel has had to adjust the service, however it could have been done better. The variety of food in this hotel is just not what you would normally expect in a Sokos Hotel. For example, there were only 2 types of cold cuts and one type of cheese. Veggies included salad leaves, cucumber slices, but no sweet pepper or tomato slices. The only "reds" were cherry tomatoes... I overheard a fellow-visitor saying, how he missed all the lovely savory cold cuts (like "meetwursti") and the variety of cheeses. Also, to my disappointment, the bacon was so crispy it was only tiny bits and pieces, and the scrambled eggs were very very runny.

My advice to the hotel; if you want/need to keep the breakfast simple, please try to at least concentrate on the quality.More
