7 ruokalajin Farang Classic maistelumenu olis hyvä mutta ei ihmeellinen. Sommelierin viinisuositukset menulle oli suoranaisen ala-arvoinen kokemus hintaan verraten. Lisäksi odotimme saapumisestamme ensimmäistä ruokalajia 1,5 tuntia!! Ja siitäkin seuraavaa vielä 25 minuuttia. Palvelu muuten oli erittäin ystävällistä.

7 course tasting menu Farang Classic was pleasent but nothing special. The Sommelier recommended wine package was an absolute dissapontment and totally unworth the money. In addition we waited 1,5 hours for the first course and then another 25 minutes for the second course. The service was otherwise very good and friendly.

Otimme seurueemme kesken 7 ruokalajin tam vdukal maistelu menun. Valitettavasti menu oli täysin yllätyksetön. Saman kokemuksen olisimme saaneet mistä tahansa aasialaisesta ravintolasta.
Kaikki ruokalajit söimme samalta lautaselta samoilla aterimilla. Näin ollen kattauksien maut sekoittuivat seuraavaksi tarjottaviin annoksiin.
Viini menun viinit olivat hyvin tavallisia eivätkä vastanneet fine dining ravintolan tasoa. Yhteenvetona voin todella ihmetellä miten ravintolaa voidaan markkinoida fine dining ravintolana.

We took the 7-course Tam vdukal tasting menu among our group. the option menu was a complete surprise. We would have had the same experience at any Asian restaurant.
We ate all the dishes from the same plate with the same cutlery. Thus, the flavors of the table settings mixed with the dishes served next.
The wines on the wine menu were very ordinary here, corresponding to the level of a fine dining restaurant. In summary, I can really wonder how to market the restaurant as a fine dining restaurant.

I recently had a disappointing experience with W-Restaurants regarding a gift
card I received as a present. Due to a personal situation, I overlooked the
6-month expiry period and realized a few months too late. When I asked if there
was any flexibility, I was told that no exceptions would be made.

I understand that policies exist for a reason, but some flexibility could go a
long way in cases like this. It left me feeling undervalued as a customer,
especially since many places offer grace periods. I hope W-Restaurants will
consider a more flexible approach in the future.

A huge party of us from my company had the pleasure of dining here. Once we were all complete, our waitress began the detailed description of the chosen tasting menu we would all be partaking of, as well as drink options, how the night would proceed, etc. Very careful and methodical.... and this is obviously how the chefs prepare the dishes as well.
The combinations of food and the presentation of the dishes were superb. There was not an unhappy person in the entire group of 13 of us there.
Tasting menus can be hit or miss, but this one was a direct bullseye. Will definitely return when next in Helsinki.

Loud, cacophonous, slow, cold service. The waiter have lots of time to sell drinks and extra portions but we never got e.g. a menu list, - we got a tip from the next table to choose a tasting menu. A big restaurant where all the parties were crammed into the same corner.
