We came to the restaurant with the highest expectations, the pasta was rated as the best in Helsinki. The Ragu I ordered was far from original. The ragu didn't taste like anything, the pasta was ordinary. The food was a big disappointment.

Inspired by an article in local newspaper, we wanted to check this place up. Osteria dei Gusti is truly worthy of its name. Food was excellent and staff really in it with their hearts. First, but definetely not last visit.

Has been for dinner with children and, as Italian, I can promise you’re going to experience a truly authentic Italian cuisine.

All types of pasta are highly recommended for their perfect combination of flavors and the ideal al dente texture. The staff is extremely kind and always ready to meet your needs or answer any questions.

Absolutely a must-visit if you come to Helsinki

The food and the ambiance were lovely. I think the majority of the waiters didn’t speak Finnsh at all, which I think is a shame since we are in Finland. One downside for me was the extremely strong smell of food, so this is one of those restaurants you don’t want to go to wearing your best outfit, since you have to wash it immediately afterwards.

Our concierge was able to get a last minute reservation for our party of 4 on a Sunday night. Many restaurants are closed on Sunday night in Helsinki. Three of us had a set menu of eggplant Parmesan, ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach in a rich butter sauce, and delicious tiramisu. Our server was friendly and accommodated our request for an indoor table. I would recommend this restaurant.
