I have never had such appouling and outright rude service as we experienced today by my entire family by a menber of staff called Mr Jouni Puustelli who insisted on on 1 minute past 17:00 that you cannot have anything else we are closed (to keep it short an civil).

Sorry to say but
When we entered the restaurant no one was interested in us, finally after we asked, someone was kind enough to show os our table
No service, all the waiters had something to do, to run around
Finally, after 7-8 minutes where lucky to get one waiter to order the drinks. They came fast and taste was good (Finnish glög), but after that we where not asked a single time what we would like to drink
Lucky it was a buffet, so we did get the x-mas buffet, which was ok, except the meet (cold meet, not even ok)
Even here no one did care how the buffet did look like. In my opinion you should look after the setting...
Any way, I must say, we all where disappointed
Hoping next year the service will be on the same levels as before

Located on the top of Haukilahti water tower you are sure to have a view! If you wish to have a sea view, remember to mention it when booking. In any case you will have a nice view over Espoo and it is possible to walk around the top of the tower outside!

The food is good with plenty of choice. Stables include Finnish traditional cuisine, salmon and herring in different forms, traditional meats, cold cuts and salads, etc. A couple of warm dishes to choose from and finally a traditional dessert table.

A bit pricy but a very nice overall experience

Since it is an old water tower the view towards sea is spectacular - especially on a clear sky. Food itself consist of rich buffet and especially sea food is really good. Main course is a bit boring but quite tasty. Dessert buffet is also with many options. Price is quite high for a lunch, but for business purposes place ir very recommendable

If you have an urge to eat high above the ground, this might be just for you. The water tower in Haukilahti, Espoo in Finland doubles as a great lunch restaurant (Haikaranpesä or the Stork's Nest) and provides an opportunity to see the southern Espoo with a 360 degree view from the top of the tower. The tower itself was built in 1968 but the upgraded restaurant provides a contemporary Finnish lunch buffet and is open the year around. Especially the cold cuts with the great selection of seafood is worth trying and the dessert table is equally good. No worries, you do not need to climb up as the elevator will shoot you up in a flash.
