A two-bedroom villa was the perfect alternative to a hotel on our driving tour. The villa had a very functional kitchen and a comfortable living room. Plus its own sauna. And a deck for enjoying the long June evening when the weather permits. (Be aware of the plentiful mosquitos.)

Our villa was a short walk to the beach and an easy walk to the restaurant at Nallikari.

Bedrooms are on the small side and there is no air conditioning which usually isn’t a major problem.

Many of the restroom facilities were closed, though and it was raining, so it was a bit bummer. This is a good stay, when there is a total lack of hostels in Oulu for some reason. Could be a little bit more affordable, though. Local bus stop is near the camp ground and the other end of the line is somewhere.... not next to places like the railway station or the central bus station.

Thank you for the review! Too bad the weather wasn't the best possible. Our 2nd main service building was undergoing large renovations and therefore was closed for May (normally they are already open this time of year). In any case, thank you for visiting us and welcome back any time!

Best Regards,
Otso

The new villas were really modern and clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay with 3 small kids. Even a sauna (!) that we unfortunately had no time to use. The beach is really close, maybe 200 meters away and it was ideal for children as it's super shallow. Though the whole holiday village was almost fully booked during our visit on a Saturday end of July the are was really quiet and calm.

We stayed with a big caravan. Easy to drive in and park the caravan. Nice and clean servicehouses. The camping is near the beach and spa. Really nice beachpromenade. Peaceful place. We loved the place.

We celebrated Christmas in one of the villas in Nallikari! We travel a lot and really, I haven’t stayed in cleanest and better equipped “hotel” so far! Everything was perfect and well thought of! When we arrived and opened the door of our holiday house, we felt like home. It was warm, Christmas lights were up and wood for fireplace ready! Kitchen has everything what one family needs, to cook a Christmas dinner and more! House looked like no one had stayed there before, like new! They even had wires to warm a car, ready to use! Amazing place, for amazing holiday!
