I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. Excellent location. Less than ten minute walk to city center where you catch the bus to Santa Claus Village. Six-minute walk to Artikum and the Pilke. About 15 minute walk from the train station. It may take a few minutes more if you walk slowly in the snow like I did but it was absolutely doable. Very clean and comfortable. But front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast that was included was good. Dinner buffet also have had a good variety and cost only 16 euros. Sauna was very clean and I was able to enjoy every night. Definitely recommend this place if you visit Rovaniemi. The only thing I wish they did was to give the ladies three hours to use the sauna like the men. Currently men get 6-9 pm and ladies only get 5-6 pm and 9-10 pm.

Great centrally located hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in this reasonably priced for Rovaniemi with clean fresh rooms. The included breakfast was perfect and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We stayed at aakenus apartments for 2 nights during our 5 night stay at rovaniemi. We previously stayed 3 nights at the scandic rovaniemi, which is right in the city centre.

This hotel is around a 10 mins walk from the main city centre. The apartment rooms are very basic and a bit outdated. No daily room service was provided for the apartment rooms which was surprising for the price charged ( 500 USD a night). Breakfast buffet is very basic. Overall would rate this hotel as average in rovaniemi for a family stay.
