When we arrived, the room was cold, the electric heaters set on 15C. As we had booked well in advance, we would have expected to have a warm room upon arrival.
The furnishings look like they have just been bought at a garage sale or flea market,
When we asked about breakfast, the landlady said that she had no time to bother whith preparing breakfast. There is a kitchen/dining room, but our key didn't granted us access to it. We bought what we needed at the nearby supermarket. There was a kettle and 2 mugs in the room, but no spoons,knives ou plates.
There is a green EXIT sign above the door IN the room. The green light is on all the time ( powerful one!) and at night it is a real problem.
We felt this place is absolutely overpriced for what you get.

We was with my wife and son on Husky activity December 2018. It's was soo great. We had superior service out there. Funny dog's and amazing Horses. We have now sooo many great pictures. There was guide: Alex, he help's us soo much, keep's us warm and took so much pictures. I must Thank him alot about care my family. Hes really good as in this work. My wife and son respect him. And Thank you for all service at RideNorth. Best.

Villa Lanca eco resort, Inari.

Villa Lanca offers not only accommodation in the village of Inari, but also a “super nice eco resort” as they call it themselves.
Please, do not believe one word of it.
We have many complaints. We informed the owner (Satu) about our complaints, to give her a chance to avoid publication on the internet, but she did not give any reaction. So now we put our complaints on the internet to inform future travelers.

September 2018 we rented 2 cabins and we spend 2 nights in that “super nice eco resort” as the owner, Satu, called the accommodation. .
Our stay has been very, very disappointing. Absolutely we did not got what was promised by Satu. We found a badly equipped “eco resort” and a mess around.

We have many points to complain about. We just give a selection, otherwise the review will be huge..

 In the resort WiFi would be available. No WiFi at all.
 There would be a sauna. No working sauna there.
 There would be a shower. No shower to find.
 There would be a possibility to charge telephones. There was not.
 Upon arrival the gasbottle in one of the cabins was empty. We had to wait till 21.00h before a new bottle was installed. In September it is already cold.
 There were no bins in the rooms or in the kitchen.
 To the toilet we had to go through a mess and soil. Was it a compost toilet as said to us? We doubt very much.
 No water or desinfectans available at the toilet. A public toilet, which you will find everywhere in Finland, is much better.
 The kitchen, called by Satu a “beautiful jurt” was more worse equipped than a standard kitchen for backpackers. Fe: just one cooking pot available.
 One of the 2 gasburners did not work.
 No dry wood ready to use for the stove in the kitchen. Everything to make a fire we had to do it ourselves and in the dark.
 Because the oillamp in the kitchen did not work; in the cabins were just 2 very small candles. The batteries we got at 18.00, as some toiletpaper.
 Old rusted chairs in the kitchen……
 According to the owner, the cabins would have panorama windows. Notice, that the view is no panorama view. Only some trees and the mess and old things laying around.
 Etc. etc.

The ratio what we had to pay compared (70 euro per cabin per night) to what we got is unacceptable to us, seen the above mentioned complaints and the not mentioned ones.

So, anyone who read this review: be warned.
Do not go to Villa Lanca Eco resort, if you have expectations to find a “super nice eco resort”.
