My friend and I booked this package deal. The wilderness hotel ticked all the boxes. A four night stay.
A pleasure to have a caring, efficient group to look after us.
The accommodation was just what we needed. The restaurant was relaxed, three excellent meals a day. Enough choices of tasty food to satisfy our needs.

We had many trips included. What fun. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, aurora camp, reindeer museum, photography night.

And the fun began when the Aurora alert went off while in bed. I was out in minutes. Pyjamas under our warm clothing that was given to us on arrival. Still there at 2.30 one morning.
I actually got some settings and help on an evening with a great photographer. Sorry forgot his name.

The most amazing night when I got many basic aurora captures and as I ended up on my own ran into the view and hey ho. Me in the capture. Not high quality but a start of my journey to capture these incredible sights!!!
I will be back as the bug is there.

Fabulous staff and great activities in an unreal location near the northern lights, pictures included. Loved staying here, only downside to this hotel is that there’s no entertainment whatsoever so there’s absolutely nothing to do throughout the whole day until your activity at 9pm

words cannot begin to express what a truly magnificent place this is, it has to be seen and experienced to believe. The journey from airport to hotel took about 30 - 40 minutes by minibus. Hotel room always warm, en suite bathroom, television, no tea / coffee making facilities but drinks available 8am - 9pm in self service restaurant (no additional cost). On arrival , after booking in, unpacking and self service buffet dinner was given hired outer clothing and boots to use for duration of trip. Also used helmets, balaclavas, snow shoes, poles dependent on activities. All meals self service breakfast from 8am, lunch from 12md, dinner from 6pm. Every meal the food was fantastic, plenty of choice eg. soups, cold and hot meats, fish, vegetarian dishes, plenty of vegetables, fresh salads, pasta, breads, fruit, yogurt, cereals, cheese, puddings etc and you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. Activities recommend - snowmobiling stopped for lunch cooked over outdoor fire, seen herd of wild reindeer moving across frozen lake. special thanks to guides Kimmo and Anthony . husky safari - drive own team of huskies which is like being in a formula one car, hang on ! a truly amazing experience special thanks to Astrid and her team. Also get to see all dogs at base kennels afterwards. Snowshoe walking through forest, in evening, to see Aurora and stopping for hot drinks made on campfire once again special thanks to kimmo for enriching this experience with his knowledge. also seen aurora by snowmobile. There are other activities available but, as we were on a short trip we didn't have time to do them. The hotel has a well stocked bar, comfortable seating areas to relax and have coffee. All reception staff were very helpful and everything well organised, special thanks to Linda. There is a shop on site where you can buy souvenirs, t shirts etc . Overall I would say this is the most amazing, life enriching place looked after by wonderful people and i'm so looking forward to going back.
