For starters, the room was in poor shape as is the whole building. My room had no toilet nor shower. The closest toilet was on the other side of the building, across the main entrance. Showers were located in the second floor as my room was in the first. Not handy.
With those I could have lived with. What ruined my experience was the fact that even though I specifically asked how do I get in at late hours, I could not get in to the building when I returned from the town at night. The lady who showed me my room said the front door is open all night. Well, it wasn’t. As I returned to the hotel at night, every door was locked, the owner didn’t answer my calls and I was freezing my butt off. The only solution was to go to the hotel a few hundred meters away.
I was supposed to spend there two nights, but after this experience, I decided to pay the extra euros and stay in a proper, clean and comfortable hotel with nice and friendly staff. -> staying at Hotel Oscar from now on. More
