Our family has been staying in Harkaniemenen Tuvat for 10 years, a few weeks every summer. We do not have any need for a summer cabin of our own. The cottages are very well equipped, clean, lake water is clear and the surroundings safe. We never had any negative issues. A place to rest.

We stayed here for three nights and were truly impressed with the cottage, the beautiful setting, and the friendliness and hospitality of the owners. Our cottage (no. 4) had everything you could possibly need or want: two bedrooms and a loft with beds for eight, a spacious living room with a view of the lake, a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, great patio with BBQ grill, a private sauna, and a private boat dock with a rowboat. The cottages are set right on the edge of a large lake and in the middle of the forest and are spaced apart far enough that we hardly even notice we had neighbors. The owner and his daughter were very welcoming and helpful, offering suggestions for hikes and activities and showing us how things worked in the house. When we didn't correctly remember how to turn on the sauna, she was there within about 15 minutes to show us (again). We wish our stay had been longer. If we ever come back to Finland, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Hello, thank you for visiting us and you are warmly welcome again. All our villas are close to the lake and surrounded by forrest. The sauna is easy to use, but can be tricky if you have not used it before. The sauna can be heated with wood or electricity, what is convenient for you that moment.
