Good selection of beers and one of the few crowded beer gardens in Kuopio, with nice staff albeit a little worn down interiors.

I had The Marysville Misfit from danish Amager Bryghus and it was excellent. If you're a beer aficionado, I highly recommend it. Apparently it's no longer available for import so get it while it lasts.

A nice, quite small and cozy pub close to Kuopio city center. 11 taps. Okay service. Not really a cheap place. No food. The best place in Kuopio to have some craft beers. Big patio in front of the bar.

If you are a friend of beer tasting, Malja is your place in Kuopio. Quite wide selection of beers and there are also some craft beers available.

Plenty of beer here! They alternate their list and the breweries where they order from time to time so you'll find something new every visit.
Atmosphere in the bar is cozy and living-room-like, staff knows what they do!

One of Kuopio's favorite hang out spots for young people. Have many beers on tap, both local and foreign, with acceptable (Finnish) prices. Staff is very polite and friendly, and atmosphere in general is very welcoming. Recommended for a chill night out in town, or for a place to gather out before your main plans.
