Have tried a few local restaurants during a business trip and this one was pretty good. Laura made the difference with a warm welcome and description of Scandinavian dishes (local pike was a good light choice) as well as Lucan boutique beers. Good deserts.

You'd never go to this place unless you know it! Atmosphere was great, comfortable small place with friendly staff. Food was good and price right.

Ordered Kummisetä's Independence Day set menu. The menu was well balanced with local flavors, everything was very tasty. Service was impeccable and very friendly. Can warmly recommend.

Restaurant Kummisetä in Kuopio - good place for good food and drinks - I even found my new husband from Kummisetä six years ago;)

Is better to make reservations as is not open every day. The service is very good and is conveniently located near the main plaa.
